Ultreya
Ultreya meets on monthly on the 4th Wednesday in the St. Francis Hall in the 8th grade CCD room. Ultreya, a Spanish word meaning Onward, is a gathering of members of the Catholic Cursillo Movement. We meet once a month to encourage each other to keep moving onward towards the Kingdom of God. We share 3 things in this meeting, along with snacks and drinks. First, Piety- our recent close moments with Christ. Second, Study- What are we doing to learn more about our faith and our God and His will for us. Third, Action- How are we using what we have and know to bring others to know Jesus Christ and our Faith, our evangelizing. Then we have a witness talk, done by different people, which tells the group how their faith walk is going and how God is working in their lives. It is done in a loving and relaxed atmosphere and all are welcome. We meet at 7 p.m. on the 4th Wednesday of each month and try to be wrapped up by 8:45. Come join us!
“May our children find in us models and incentives to communion! May our children find in us men and women capable of joining others in bringing to full flower all the good seeds which the Father has sown!”
